I thought for old times sake I would write in my now abandoned blog. Who knows, maybe I will bring it back. What have I been up to you ask?! Well, lets see....I went to see KITH in LA last month! That was great! I really missed the guys! They were fantastic, and I really hope they tour so that everyone who did or didn't get a chance to see them last tour, will get one. They showed me that they still have alot to give, and that they don't need old characters to be fuckin' Hilarous. I would be up for a Rivoli show, if the guys who live in LA would get their asses to toronto. I know of a lot more people who could go to a TO show as apposed to an LA show.
Anyway....I know no one reads this anymore, but I will pop in from time to time for old times sake. :)
I know that I don't post in this thing enough anymore, but I have to point out what today is. It was 3 years today, that I saw/"met" kith at the chicago show. In honour of it I watched "Tour of Duty". I will never forget that night, or that time in my life, and I can only hope that I get to see them tour again.
So, instead of doing family Easter stuff tomarrow Im going over to Hannah's. She got free tickets to this comedy club, I guess there is going to be a hypnotist there. She says that since her tickets are free we won't have to worry about being pulled out of the crowd, cause we will have shitty seats. It should be fun watching some hypnotist put the sleep of ages on some people and turn them into chickens! (kith refrence!kith refrence!) Gosh I hope this doesn't suck!
I really can't stand how my family waits till the last minute to tell me that we have something going on for easter, cause last year we didn't do a thing. So I went with marie for easter. This year I think we don't have anything planed so I tell Hannah I will go with her. So, yeah, Im kinda mad, cause I will miss seeing Makayla again, but I won't miss the uncomfortable family gathering with My uncle and family.
So, what am I doing tonight? Not much, after work, I bought some wine coolers, cause Its been a while, and I could really use it. I hope you all have a Happy Easter, and don't overdose on too much Easter candy! :)
I feel so horrible, cause I never update this, but I don't have the heart to just abandon it altogether.
Lets see what have I been up to? Not much. Im working on an afgan for my nephew Hayden's first birthday. Hannah taught me the pattern, its repetative, so I don't have to look at an actual pattern. Its coming along pretty well.
I have been watching Punky Brewster, I ended up buying them, cause I thought it would be cool to see something from my childhood. I used to love watching that show so much. Gosh, its such a sappy show, but I still like it. The jokes are pretty lame, but its a cute show for the kids, I think when Makayla gets old enough, I will let her watch them. Frankly I don't think they would keep her attention, not the actual show, maybe the cartoon.
That show has a tendency to make me ball my eyes out! There is this ep where her dog gets hit by a car, and the one where they talk about the Chalenger explosion. And who can forget Henry's Studio getting burned down which cause him to go into the hospital, cause of an ulcer, which made him almost lose Punky! But, of course it always works out in the end. Im just a big sap underneath it all. :) Anyway, yeah, not interesting at all.
Well, we are all setteled, its been about a week and a half in the new apartment. I really love having alot of room, now if I could only get someone to visit. ;)
So, its taken way longer than I thought it would to get the internet. Mom had to call sbc, and I guess there was a mix up or something, so for the time being we have dial up. Its better than nothing, I guess.
I got a call from Marie last night, and I feel really bad that I didn't call her when I got back on sunday after I got back. Anyway, I hadn't been feeling like talking to anyone, cause not much has been going on here. Its just been so blah, I mean its nice to be in a new and bigger place, but its boring. I had thought about calling her yesterday, but imagine my surprise when she called me!! I am really glad that she did, cause it doesn't matter how boring my life is, I can talk to her about just anything, like my nerdy obsessions, and she doesn't think Im wierd. Im so blessed to have such a great friend. :)
I also called Hannah earlier last week, and Im going to see her this thursday, I can't believe that its been since august?! I feel really bad, but she can't expect me to just drive down there all the time, I mean she never comes to visit me so.....
Wow, its been quite a while. I just haven't felt much like jounaling when there isn't really anything going on. I went out and bought the second set of sctv, and I can't get enough of it! :) Although I haven't finished watching it(for the first time anyway)I can't wait for the next set!! I don't know why it took me so long to buy the first set, I guess it was becouse I was younger when it came out, so I didn't quite understand it all.
Anyway, today is my day off and I spent it helping mum do laundry, and packing for the move that will most likely happen next week. I have so much shit left to pack, and Im not looking forward to it. Anyway, I hope you all are enjoying your weekend! :)
